We are most grateful to our art vendor, RDD Group (ArtSource) for donating the prizes for each category, which will include some art supplies for the students to continue their passions.

We would also like to thank our committee: Laura Mulvey, Carolyn Lutz, and Andreas Berko for their efforts in bringing this project to completion. We are also extremely appreciative of the staff and students at St. Helena School, who have been extraordinarily flexible this week. Thank you also to our adjudicators, Jill Tuttle (drawing), Stacey Walyuchow (mixed media/sculpture), and Keith Dalgleish (painting). Finally, thank you to Jacqueline Allen and Elaine Nickel for doing the hard work of displaying and packing all of the submitted works in time for the show.

We hope to run this event again in 2022/23 and we also hope that you will consider encouraging your junior high students to participate!

Fine & Performing Arts

St. Helena is hosting the district’s first ever JH Arts Show on May 5, 2022. The JH Art Show is an opportunity for students to submit artwork to be adjudicated by professional artists.  Accepted works will be exhibited privately at St. Helena School for the adjudicators and the St. Helena student body. The artwork will then be displayed in a public online gallery where you will be able to see some beautiful pieces created by our Hawks. Works in three categories will be considered and ultimately adjudicated by the following local professional artists: Keith Dalgleish (painting), Stacey Walyuchow (mixed media) and Jill Tuttle (drawing). The Online Gallery Release is  Thursday, May 5, 2022.

If you are curious about the professional artist adjudicators here are the websites where you can see their beautiful work.
