Principal's Messages

It is with honour and immense pleasure that I greet you as the new Principal of St. Helena School. My mission is to focus on working together to create joyful, welcoming, safe, and caring learning environments for each student. I will work alongside our community to ensure that our students continue to feel a sense of pride and belonging while receiving the best possible educational experiences at St. Helena School. It is evident how much incredible work has already been done to support the students, staff, and community and I am excited to further this work.

I have had the pleasure of serving our Calgary Catholic School District for 25 years. My CCSD career began at St. Martha School followed by Our Lady Queen of Peace School, St. Martin de Porres School, Father Lacombe High School, and Notre Dame High School. As an administrator, I have served at St. Brigid School, St. Mary’s School, and St. Timothy School. I am proud to share that my own two children have attended and graduated from CCSD schools. Our family strongly believes in the incredible power of public education, and I know firsthand that our CCSD schools provide our children with faith-filled, diverse, and purposeful learning experiences that help them thrive. It is through the hard work, dedication, and partnerships that exist between school staff, parents, community members, that our student body achieves success.

As I begin at St. Helena, I am humbled and most appreciative of the opportunity presented to me to become a member of this educational family and dynamic community. To ensure a smooth transition, I am working closely with the previous principal, Mr. Sanesh, our Assistant Principal Mrs. Boyles, and the school staff so that we honour the work that has been done to make St. Helena such a wonderful school community.

If you have questions or you would just like to reach out and say hello, I will enjoy hearing from you.

I look forward to the exchange of ideas as we all work in partnership to create educational masterpieces for many years to come.

God Bless,

Principal Rhonda Wolske
